How to find an article on the website?

Our menu allows you to search products by the following gender or age categories, (men, women, children) as well as by product type (swimwear, beachwear, and accessories.) Once you have chosen your category of interest, you can refine your selection and filter by color, size and style.

You may also use the search tool that is available throughout the website by clicking on the magnifying glass in the search bar and searching by product name, category, color or reference.

How to choose the right size?

On each product page, you have access to the size chart that indicates the different characteristics of the product in addition to an explanation of how to choose the correct size. For a direct look at our size chart, please click here: Vilebrequin Size Chart

If an article is out of stock, can I still order the product?

If your size is no longer available online, our website allows you to identify the availability of the article in our stores. If the product is not available in one of our boutiques, we will do our best to track down the article. Where are your products made?

Our fabric is of French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese origin. All fabrics are printed in France and in Italy. Our products are then confected in various locations in Europe, Morocco or Tunisia. Our embroidered series are produced in France and Italy.

Do you offer a repair service?

MY ACCOUNT

Am I required to create an account if I wish to place an order?

No, clients are not required to create an account when placing an order. Having an account simply allows clients to be informed in avant-première about our new collections and benefit from special offers. The creation of an account also allows you to easily access previous transactions, your wish list and conveniently saves your personal information in order to facilitate future orders with Vilebrequin.

Is my personal information protected? Am I able to access this information?

We take full responsibility for treating all information that is communicated to us in the utmost private and confidential manner. All information that is communicated to us from you will be used only for the goal of satisfying your needs and responding as best as we can to all requests. We place an emphasis keeping your information confidential, it is never shared with third-party users. I forgot my password, what should I do?

You can reset your password by clicking on the link "Forgot your password" on the sign-in page of the website. Then, follow the instructions that will be indicated on this page.

How can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

If you have an account, sign-in and go into the tab "Newsletter" where you will have the opportunity to modify your preferences for receiving the Vilebrequin newsletter. You also have the option of unsubscribing by clicking on the bottom link of each newsletter that reads, "click here to unsubscribe."

My Order

How do I know if my order has been processed? How can I follow-up on my order?

After payment and validation of your order, you will receive two emails:

1. The first email confirms the transaction and includes important information including your order number and a résumé of the different articles ordered.

2. The second email confirms that the order has been sent and is being delivered via our courier. You will find a link allowing you to track your order's delivery progress.

How can I cancel an order?

Orders may be cancelled via a direct request through email contact.eu@vilebrequin.com or via telephone, +44 133 24 08 004 as long as the order has not yet been processed. In the event that the order has already been shipped, you will need to proceed with a return as outlined in our return policy detailled later in this FAQ.

Can I modify the delivery address?

It is not possible to modify the delivery address once your order has been processed. Please double check when validating your order.

Can I make changes to my order after once my order has been confirmed?

For technical reasons, it is not possible to modify sizes, colors, product styles or quantities once an order has been completed. If upon reception of the order, there are articles that are not to your suiting, you have 30 days to return the product(s) free of charge.

For international deliveries:
During checkout or by logging into to your online store account, you can add new addresses to your account, so each time you check out you can choose from these stored addresses.

If your order is shipping to an address other than the billing address on your credit card, we may contact you to list the alternate address with your credit card company. This helps prevent fraudulent use of your credit card. To list the alternate address with your credit card company, just call the 800 number on the back of your card and ask the agent to add the address to the notes on your account. Listing the address before you place an order helps us process your order more quickly.

Can I request that my order be gift-wrapped?

Because we believe that the reception of your Vilebrequin products should be a moment of excitement and pleasure, all of our orders are delivered in our signature boxes. The products are wrapped in tissue paper and all of our swimsuits come with a water-proof wallet that allows you to protect your personal items as well as a "spi-bag" that can be used for transporting your swimsuit. When at checkout on the website, it is possible to include a gift card if you wish that the order be sent as a gift.

Can I use a Vilebrequin gift certificate on the website?

Although it is not currently possible for our clients to use a gift certificate on the website, we are conscious that this is important and working on a solution in order to implement this option in the near future.

Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?

You may use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diner's Club or Paypal account for all purchases.

For international deliveries:
Currently, Borderfree supports Vilebrequin Visa, Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, PayPal®, PayPal Express® and more with additional payment options coming soon. Payment methods vary by destination; you'll see all your options during Checkout. You'll see "BF*Vilebrequin" on your credit card statement. Store credit notes are not accepted.

How do you secure transactions?

The security of your information is very important to us. The different exchanges of information between the Vilebrequin website, our payment company and the computer or device being used to place your order are secured via a SSL 128 bits certificate. You can verify the presence of this protection by looking at the HTTPS in the URL of the Vilebrequin website when checking out. Furthermore, your banking information is never stored on our servers.

What can I do if I see that I was charged for the order but never received an email confirmation?

In the event that you do not receive an email confirming your order but you see that you have been charged, we recommend that you contact our customer service team and give us the maximum amount of information concerning your order (date, email, contact details, amount charged, etc.). Based on this information, we will be able to check the order history and quickly resolve the problem.

Vilebrequin partners with Borderfree, a global e-commerce provider, to offer international shopping to some countries. Borderfree allows us to show all our prices in local currency and displays your final total during Checkout. Borderfree also lets us take advantage of a fast, reliable shipping network.

When you place an international order, your transaction will be with Borderfree, but Vilebrequin is happy to handle all your customer service needs.

Start shopping! When you check out, your financial transaction and shipment will be processed by Borderfree. You'll see a guaranteed order total, including all shipping costs and any applicable duties and taxes. For most countries, you can choose to pay duties and taxes at time of Checkout or you can select the option to pay duties and taxes upon delivery. When indicated in Checkout, some countries offer only the option to pay duties and taxes upon delivery.

If you don't see your country listed, Borderfree doesn't currently ship to that destination. Please contact the customer service in order to organize a long distance sale with our local partner or one of our store.

What are your delivery times?

- Germany, (excluding the municipality of Busingen (78266) and the island of Heligoland (27998)), Luxembourg, Netherlands and Belgium. For those destination, working day delivery times for Express is one (1) day. Between two (2) and five (5) days for the Standard delivery

- Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark (Greenland and Faroe island excluded), Hungary, Ireland, Spain (Canary and Gibraltar islands, Ceuta and Melilla excluded), Finland (Åland islands excluded), Greece (Athos region excluded), Italy (except the Vatican area, Campione d'Italia, Livigno and San Marino), Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden. For those destinations, working day delivery times for Express is two (2) days. Between three (3) and six (6) days for the Standard delivery

Delivery time is considered as the time to the first presentation of the consignment, except as a result of circumstances beyond our control (notably days with imposed driving bans, public holidays in France or abroad, hold-ups in customs, force majeure).

While we do our very best to deliver your products within the timeframes defined above, delivery dates remain estimates, they are not guaranteed, and cannot be invoked against us. However, the delivery within the maximum period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the Delivery Email is guaranteed.

Should the situation arise where it proves impossible to respect the initially planned delivery date, you will be informed as soon as possible, while also indicating a new estimated delivery date, without incurring any liability, provided, however, that you cancel your order if the delay in delivering it exceeds thirty (30) days. To cancel your order, please email us at contact.eu@vilebrequin.com. We will refund your order and any shipping charges if our product is not delivered within 30 days.

We ask you to please note that the transporter will require a signature upon delivery and cannot provide the products without one. If you place an order for several items, we might be obliged to deliver your products in more than one package or over several dates. If it is necessary to resort to more than one delivery, you will be notified in advance. Your order will be sent to the delivery address indicated at time of ordering. We cannot be held responsible if this address is incorrect or incomplete.

For international deliveries:
Once your transaction is complete, Vilebrequin will ship your item to the Borderfree shipping hub in the United Kingdom. Borderfree then ships your order to its final international destination.

Most in-stock items will arrive 5-13 business days after receipt of your order. You'll see a more precise shipping timeline specific to your destination in Checkout.

Please note that shipping windows are estimates and delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

How much do you charge for shipping?

    We offer two shipping options:
  • 1. Standard Delivery:Free shipping.
  • Home delivery within 2-6 working days from order confirmation. Please consult our Terms & Conditions for more details.
  • 2. Express Delivery: 15€
  • Home delivery within 1-3 working days from order confirmation if order placed before 1 pm Paris time (France). Please consult our Terms & Conditions for more details.

For international deliveries:
International shipping costs will be calculated and guaranteed by Borderfree based on the items you are purchasing, your chosen shipping method and your shipping destination.

Unfortunately, we can't offer free shipping to international destinations.

International customers may ship to multiple addresses by placing a separate order for each shipping address. We can't ship single international orders to multiple addresses at this time.

How do I know if my order has been sent?

All orders placed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, before 1 PM (GMT +1) will begin processing that day and will ship within 48 hours pending availability and credit verification. Orders placed after 1 PM (GMT +1) will begin processing the next business day. Transit times do not include Saturday, Sunday or holidays. Vilebrequin cannot be responsible for unanticipated delays due to conditions such as weather or air travel delays.

Can I pick-up my order in-store?

You may also retrieve your order in one of our selected Vilebrequin boutiques throughout Europe free of charge. The list of participating stores will be available during the check-out process.

Where is my order shipped from?

All orders placed on the eu.vilebrequin.com website are shipped from France.

Returns and exchanges

You have 30 days from receipt of your order to return a product purchased from our Online Shop.For a simple return, please use the return form included in your package.

Vilebrequin will accept merchandise only if it is in the original condition, unworn, with original tags and receipt (or gift receipt), and accompanying accessories such as the water wallet and travel pouch, if applicable. For any items returned that are not in this condition, the return will be denied and the merchandise will be returned to you.

The cost of returning goods to Vilebrequin is the responsibility of the customer. They will only be refunded in the event we inadvertently sent the wrong item(s) or the item(s) sent are found to be defective.

Please bear in mind that standard return shipments can take several working days to arrive at our warehouse in France.

We recommend that you retain the original postage receipt. In the rare case that a parcel gets lost in the return process, this is necessary to track the missing parcel down.

For international deliveries:
Orders shipped internationally aren't eligible for free returns or merchandise exchanges; return shipping and handling fees will be deducted from your refund. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

For a refund that includes duties, taxes and tariffs, please contact the customer service and ask them to send you a Return Merchandise Authorization form. Mail the completed form with your item(s) to Borderfree, our international shipping partner. Please make sure to send your return parcel with an international tracking number and to retain the original postage receipt. Borderfree will credit your account used for the order when it receives the form and merchandise to our logistic partner warehouse in France. If you have selected to pay duties and taxes at time of delivery (COD), you will not be credited for original duties and taxes paid.

Exchange rates?

Your order total is guaranteed at the exchange rate set when your order is placed. Foreign exchange rates are determined by Borderfree and are based on interbank rates of exchange. These rates correspond with the average aggregate exchange rates that would otherwise be applied in an e-commerce transaction.

Vilebrequin.com updates exchange rates every day.

Duties and Taxes?

International taxes, tariffs and value-added tax (VAT) will be calculated into your final order total during Checkout. They are based on the purchased merchandise's country of origin or manufacturing and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system used by the countries that Borderfree supports.

You have the option to pay these required charges during Checkout. If the charges are paid at Checkout, the order total (merchandise landed cost) is guaranteed by Borderfree and you are not required to pay any additional fees (no COD) at the time of order delivery.

Some international destinations have the option to pay duties and taxes at the time of order delivery (COD). If you select this option, you will be required to pay duties and taxes, along with any collection fees, to the shipping carrier upon receipt. The order total (merchandise landed cost) cannot be guaranteed and may differ from what is quoted online at Checkout. If the due charges are not paid COD, the merchandise will be returned back to Vilebrequin and the customer will not be refunded any of the shipping charges.

Merchandise Exceptions?

The maximum order value for international shipment is US$25,000.

Gifts with purchase (Bonus Product) are not available for international shipping. Other products, including beauty items, hazardous materials, furs and exotic leathers, may also have international shipping restrictions.

Why do I have an error message if I am using Internet Explorer 8?

Our website is not adapted for Internet Explorer 8 or any versions previous to the 8. Updating Internet Explorer is quick and simple and will allow you to benefit from a smoother navigation on our website. Vilebrequin #BetterTogether official rules

1. ELIGIBILITY.

The “#BetterTogether” contest (the “Contest”) is organized by the Sponsor (as defined in section 13) subject to the rules set out below (the “Rules”). Participation in the Contest is free and does not depend on the purchase of or claim on non-gratuitous goods or services. The Contest is open to people who are 18 years of age or older (as of date of entry) with full legal capacity and who are legal residents of Switzerland or any other country in which participation in the Contest would be permitted under local laws and regulations (the “Participants”). Participants from outside of Switzerland shall check with their local legal and/or regulatory requirements regarding their eligibility, prior to participation in the Contest. The people on the photo sent within the participation in the Contest must be 18 years of age or older (as of date of entry) with full legal capacity. The officers, directors, and employees of the Sponsor and its parent company, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies as well as all advertising, promotion and judging agencies, persons engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for the Contest (collectively the “Contest Parties”) and immediate family members or persons living in the same household with any Contest Party (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Contest. By entering the Contest, each Participant represents and warrants being eligible for participation in accordance with this section 1 and expressly agrees with the Rules.

2. CONTEST PERIOD.

The Contest begins on January 16th, 2018 at 7:00AM PST and ends on February 13th, 2018 11:59 PM PST (“Contest Period”). Entries will be accepted throughout the Contest Period.

3. HOW TO ENTER.

There are two ways to enter the Contest:

- Through an Instagram (www.instagram.com) account, in which case any additional terms and conditions of such services apply and shall be complied with by the Participants.

To enter, Participants must either: - Upload a picture of their couple (the participant and his/her partner ) with at least the one of them wearing Vilebrequin swimsuits on the Instagram picture, mention @vilebrequin and use #BetterTogether

Pictures submitted by the Participants may be published on the Sponsor’s social media outlets and/or in other Digital communication platforms (i.e. newsletter, Vilebrequin website etc.) and Participants by submitting their pictures via Instagram expressly grant the Sponsor the right to do so. The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram . Participants further understand that they are providing their information to the Sponsor and not exclusively to Instagram, if they are using such services to participate in the Contest.

4. WARRANTY BY THE PARTICIPANTS.

Participants warrant that the pictures they are using for participating in the Contest are their own and that such pictures and their publication within the frame of the Contest do not infringe any copyrights, personality rights, or other rights or laws. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Participants shall, in particular, have obtained the necessary informed consent of any other persons featured in the pictures they are submitting to the Sponsor within the frame of the Contest and subject to the Rules, in order to do so.

5. DEFENSE AND INDEMNIFICATION.

Each Participant agrees to defend and indemnity the Sponsor and /or its parent company, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies against any liability, actions, claims, damages, losses, and costs, including legal and attorney’s fees, related thereto.

6. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY.

The Sponsor and its parent company, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliated companies, disclaim all liability, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in connection with the Contest and the pictures submitted by the Participants.

7. SELECTION OF WINNER AND NOTIFICATION.

Three (3) couples from Europe and three (3) couples from United States will be randomly drawn among all the participants and will be designated the “Winners”. It will represent twelve (12) unique persons in total. The Winners will be notified by the Sponsor or its designated agency via its relevant social media account, such as a direct message on Instagram or via e-mail to the address used by the Winners for entering the contest. The Winners must respond within a 24-hour time period from the date and time stamp such notification was sent by the Sponsor or its designated agency. If a Winner’s reply is not received within such deadline, the prize will be deemed as undeliverable and forfeited by the relevant Winners. In such case, the jury will select an alternative Winner in accordance with this section 7. There will thus be a total of maximum twelve (12) Winners. The picture and name of the Winners may be published on the Sponsor’s social media outlets and/or in every Digital communication platforms (i.e. newsletter, Vilebrequin website etc.)

8. PRIZES AND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS.

The Winners are eligible to receive one or two Vilebrequin swimsuit (F/M) as available in stock, and chosen by the Sponsor at its sole discretion, up to a value of CHF 600. Prizes are not transferable or refundable, and shall be accepted as awarded. No cash equivalent or alternative product or prize will be made available.

9. BINDING EFFECT AND DISQUALIFICATION.

By submitting their entries Participants agree to be bound by the Rules. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify individual Participants from the Contest if there are justifiable grounds e.g. infringement of the Rules, influencing the voting process, manipulation, etc.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION.

The Sponsor makes no representations or warranties in connection with the Contest; The Sponsor’s decisions are final on all matters related to the Contest and there shall be no right of appeal. Neither the Sponsor nor any other Contest Parties are responsible for incomplete, lost, late, delayed or garbled applications or emails, incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, including but not limited to technical malfunctions, human or technical error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, so are or any combination thereof.

11. CHANGES TO THE RULES OF PARTICIPATION AND TERMINATION OF THE CONTEST.

The Sponsor reserves the right, without prior notice, to terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify the Contest and/or the Rules, for any reason or no reason at all, including without limitation, if it determines in its sole discretion, that fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest. Participants who have already entered the Contest before any such termination or change of the Contest and/or the Rules may be notified by the Sponsor to the contact indicated upon Contest entry. In case of a modification of the Rules, such Participants may, as their sole remedy, declare to withdraw from the Contest. No indemnity will be paid or due to Participants as a result of such termination and/or modification. Should the Contest not be cancelled or terminated earlier, pursuant to this section 11, it shall be deemed to end upon the provision of the prizes to the selected Winner.

12. PRIVACY; DATA COLLECTION.

The Sponsor will store and process the Participants’ entry details and submissions solely for the purpose of the Contest (including publication of such information on its social media outlets) and in accordance with the rules of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act. The Sponsor may subcontract all or part of the processing of such information to its designated agency, which shall process such information strictly in compliance with the Sponsor’s instructions, and each Participant agrees to such subcontracting. Information provided by and/or collected from Participants for the purposes of the Contest is further subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy located here: Vilebrequin Privacy Policy .

13. SPONSOR.

The Contest is sponsored by T.R.B. International SA with Swiss headquarter offices at Chemin du Pré-Fleuri, 5 1228 Plan-les-Ouates Switzerland (the “Sponsor”).

14. DISPUTES.

No correspondence will be entered into about the Contest. No claims can be made relating to the forwarding, redemption or exchange of prizes. Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
