In the 1960s, Fred Prysquel, the founder of the brand, developed a passion for car racing. He quickly became a reporter, travelling around the world to cover all the major Formula 1 races. In 1971, he embarked on a new adventure by opening his first Vilebrequin men's swimwear shop in Saint-Tropez. It soon became synonymous with elegant holidays. Since then, the brand has been creating summer pieces for every moment and every personality. Whether it’s men’s swim briefs or chic swim shorts, these high-end men's swimwear items always embody the timeless motto of the Maison: luxury, sun, and freedom.
