A polymorphic designer, artist and creator, Jean‑Charles de Castelbajac has challenged and reinvented the codes of creation so much so that he wound up adorning the clergy with the colours of the rainbow and embellishing Pope John Paul II’s vestments.
He has since danced with the Sex Pistols, dressed Lady Gaga and Beyoncé and, in the autumn of 2018, he was named Artistic Director of United Colors of Benetton. His modern and colourful artistic vision is a breath of fresh air in the face of contemporary gloom.
