Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates : Vilebrequin unveils its second limited-edition capsule collection inspired by Abu Dhabi during an exclusive launch event held in Shanghai in October 2026.
FROM THE WATERS OF ABU DHABI : A LIMITED COLLECTION
The capsule introduces a curated range of swimwear and ready-to-wear for men, women, and children, shaped by a shared focus on creativity and environmental awareness. Inspired by the waters of Abu Dhabi, the collection draws on the region’s marine ecosystems—from the protected shores of Saadiyat Island to its rich underwater life. Fluid patterns and sun-washed tones echo the movement and light of the sea, translating a strong sense of place into a contemporary visual language.

Across silhouettes, Vilebrequin’s iconic turtle motif is reinterpreted through forms inspired by local biodiversity, balancing playful expression with refined construction and a clear connection to the environment.The collection builds on the Save The Tides initiative, which invited university students across Abu Dhabi to imagine a future where fashion and marine conservation move forward together. The winning design, created by Islay Bayar of New York University Abu Dhabi, serves as the foundation for this exclusive capsule.
